All my life all I had wanted was to see a Beatle in person and this was my opportunity. He walked on stage, I burst into tears, and then sang along with him from the audience for the next 2 hours on one of the most exciting and certainly most memorable nights of my life. Unless you grew up in the 60s, you can never really know the impact the Beatles had on so many lives and how they were a cultural phenomen unlike any other before or since. My own boys tell me all the time that I'm not old, just middle-aged. I hate to say it, but to me that reminds me of the middle ages with Charlemagne which was about a millennium ago or so!). Anyway, I think that you're right about the rarity of true silver hair in accordance to the "peppering" effect I have right now and it looks nothing like Diane @ the end of Poltergeist. I hope your hair grows out into a nice shade of gray. I'm sure with high-quality products that it's true beauty will shine through.
